Glass is a weak link in building climate control. On the one hand, a lot of light is often desired; on the other hand, too much light can be a very hindering factor for performing efficient work. For situations where light dosage is important, Glasfolie Suncontrol developed a flexible solution; SolarScreen Daylight Filters. These glass film screens are made of polyester layers with a reflective layer of metal particles between them with or without a reinforcing punch. SolarScreen Daylight Filters are made in the form of blinds and slats.

No more annoying glare

Due to their light-absorbing ability, glass film screens are the solution against annoying glare. The tint and metal particles filter daylight. It maximizes screen visibility, even close to the window.

When annoying sunshine is absent, the screen can be operated. Even application with attractive cassette and/or side guides is possible. The product can be applied in many ways and very flexibly.

The additional beneficial properties of SolarScreen daylight filters

Solar Screen
gives windows excellent sun and heat protection properties.
SolarScreen daytime solar filters also ensure your privacy. During the day, the film obstructs views into offices and buildings.

Insulation

Finally, screens ensure that in the winter the heat from your heating system is reflected, saving on your energy budget. In addition, when your building is air conditioned, the energy use in the summer is significantly lower due to the better insulation of your windows through the use of our screens.

No building is alike

Because there are differences in climate and because each building has different requirements, Glasfolie Suncontrol has developed a range of screens and louvers with different light and sun protection properties.

Applications

Screens can be used on glass where the permanent application of glass film is not desired. Well-known applications include control rooms, offices, airports, and any other building where flexible light transmission and proper shading is desired or necessary.
